Welcome to U Online, your safe, quick, and easy interactive portal to your funds at the Unit Trust Corporation. With U Online you now have freedom, control and convenience to perform your day-to-day transactions at any location you choose anywhere in the world! Best of all, you can manage your time and money with just the click of your mouse because its available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year! We have included a few questions and answers below that will help you better understand our service. Please select from the menu, or scroll down through the questions. N.B. General1.1 How can I register for this service? Click on the "Register Now" link in the menu above. This will allow you to complete our Online registration form. Once all the requested information has been entered correctly, our Terms and conditions page is displayed. This must be printed and dropped off at any of our nine (9) customer service centers, where you will need at least one (1) valid form of Identification. You will be granted access immediately upon receipt of your form. For additional assistance view the registration demo Your UTCID is the seven (7) digit unique identification given to every unit holder by the Corporation. This is what you will use as your Login ID. You can find it on your statement in the top left hand corner. If you do not know your UTCID, please call us at 625-8648 (UNIT) or ask any of our friendly customer service representatives. We will be happy to provide it to you. 1.3 What do I need to get started? A computer connected to the internet, using either Internet Explorer 5.5 and higher or Mozilla Firefox. Your browser must be java enabled and have Adobe Flash Player installed. Please go to our requirements page for complete instructions on how to prepare your computer. 1.4 Is there a cost for this service? U online is completely free of charge. 1.5 What are the features that U online offers? All registered users are able to:
1.6 Which accounts can I access information on? You are able to view account information on any fund you currently have at the Unit Trust Corporation. 1.7 If I open a new fund, will I be able to view information on that fund online? Yes, as soon as your new fund has been opened, you will be able to view the balance online. 1.8 Can I see where I've used my debit card and how much money I've spent at a location? Yes, you may use the account history feature, or mini statement feature to view your latest transactions and their locations. 1.9 How many days of fund history are available for me to view online? U Online allows our customers to view history on their accounts from inception. 2. Transactions2.1 What are the rules for requesting a repurchase online? You may request a repurchase from a fund to be collected at the customer service center of your choice. All repurchase requests made during working days by 12:00pm are available same day. Subsequent requests are available next working day. All U.S denominated cheques must be collected at our Port-of-Spain Customer service Center. Total value of Repurchases can be made up to TTD$50,000.00 or USD$10,000.00 either as a single transaction, or total value of daily repurchases. You cannot request a repurchase from an account that you hold jointly. 2.2 What are the rules for paying a bill online? You may only pay bills with your TTD denominated Income Funds. You cannot pay a bill with an account that you hold jointly. Please allow 5-7 BUSINESS days for your payee account to be credited. 2.3 What are the rules for transferring funds between my accounts? You may transfer between any funds you have invested in. You may also set up a recurring transfer to automatically move money from one fund to another on a particular day. You can perform a maximum of five (5) transfers daily. Each transfer value must be no greater than 10,000.00 TTD You may only transfer into an account that you hold jointly. You cannot transfer funds out of an account that you hold jointly. Due to current limitations in the availability of foreign currency, all cross-currency transfers are subject to authorization by Online Services. You will be notified once your transaction is successful by UTC Mail (your U-Online mail service). All TTD to USD transfers are converted at 6.38TTD to 1.00USD. 2.4 What are the rules for requesting a statement? All statement requests made during BUSINESS days by 12:00pm are available same day. Subsequent requests are available next BUSINESS day You can perform a maximum of five (5) statement requests daily. You cannot request a statement for an account you hold jointly. 2.5 What are the rules for requesting a debit card? You can only request a debit card if you do not currently have an active card. You can only request a debit card for your USD or TTD denominated income Funds. You cannot request a debit card on an account that you hold jointly. You cannot request more than one TTD or USD card. 2.6 What are the rules for requesting IVR access? You can only request IVR access if you do not currently have access. 3. SecurityThe Unit Trust Corporation has adopted strategies and technologies in line with the best in the industry to provide advanced security measures:
3.2 What are the requirements for my online password? The current passwords requirements are eight (8) to fourteen (14) characters long and must contain at least one (1) numeric. We also recommend you employ good password practice and ensure your password cannot be easily guessed, such as your birth date, name of family member or spouse. If you suspect your password has been compromised, you should contact us immediately at 625-UNIT (option 4) Click on the forgot password link on the Login Page. You will be prompted to enter your UTC Id and your Secret question and answer. Once the requested information has been entered correctly, a Customer service representative from Online Services will contact you on the mobile or home number you have provided with a confirmation number. You go back to the account login page and click unlock account. You will be prompted to enter your UTC ID, Secret Question and answer and the confirmation number. Once the requested information has been entered correctly, you will be prompted to enter a new password. You may then login with your new password. **For additional assistance view the Forgot password demo 3.4 What should I do if i cannot remember my password? Click on the forgot password link. You will be prompted to enter your UTC Id and your Secret question and answer. Once the requested information has been entered correctly, A Customer service representative from Online Services will contact you on the mobile or home number you have provided with a confirmation number. You go back to the account login page and click unlock account. You will be prompted to enter your UTC ID, Secret Question and answer and the confirmation number. Once the requested information has been entered correctly, you will be prompted to enter a new password. You may then login with your new password. **For additional assistance view the Forgot password demo 3.5 How often should my password be changed? We will prompt you to change your password at least once every year. However, we recommend that you change your password for security reasons every sixty (60) days. 3.6 If I do not change my password after it has expired, what should I do?? If your password is not changed after it has expired you must follow the password reset procedure 3.7 What should I do if I suspect my password has been compromised? If you suspect your password has been compromised, you should contact us immediately at 625-UNIT (option 4) 3.8 What should I do if someone e-mails, or calls me for information? The Unit Trust Corporation will never ask for any personal information such as; passwords, PINS, or secret question answers via e-mail. If you have been asked for this information, do not comply, instead contact us immediately at 625-UNIT (option 4) 3.9 How is my information used? All information gathered by the Unit Trust Corporation with respect to your online usage is kept in strictest confidence and will not be disclosed unless explicitly agreed to by the customer in writing where disclosure of that information is permitted by law. 4. Support and Service4.1 How can I contact a customer service representative? You can contact our trained and friendly Customer Service Staff at 625-UNIT (option 4) or send an e-mail to uonline@ttutc.com If you are already using our U Online service, you can contact our customer service representatives via the secure e-mail feature 4.2 Can I get help online while using U online? Yes, while logged in, click on the ‘need assistance’ button located in the top left hand corner of your screen. This will provide helpful tips, hints and other information to assist you. 4.3 Can I see how U online works before I register?
